I have been keenly interested in photography from my youth. As an adult this usually took the form of travel photography. A few years ago however, with the advent of digital photography and digital imaging software, I became interested in photography as fine art using digital tools to artistically enhance my photographs (see Artist Statement).

For the past several years I have been on the faculty of a small university in Fort Wayne, Indiana as an associate professor of chemistry. Science and art have historically been closely related and I find them quite compatible in my own life.

My wife Charlotte and I travel together and sometimes work together on the images for this site. In such instances Charlotte has taken the original photograph and I will provide the digital enhancements.

Charlotte and I currently reside on six beautifully wooded acres just outside of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
