I take original photographs and digitally remove or subdue some elements in the image while intensifying others. My work might be described as impressionistic because there is some degree of departure from reality. This is intended give emphasis to the central subject or theme and consequently the emotional impact of the image as well. I typically use several digital imaging programs to craft the final image and achieve the "impression" that I am seeking.

I have been engaged in photography for many years but in recent years, with the advent of digital photography, I have focused on photography as fine art using digital tools to artistically enhance my photographs.
